We love our neighborhood. We love our home. We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. We ran out of our house three times when looking with our realtor. It was being sold “as is,” and “as it was” was quite challenging. We have to thank our neighbors Jean & John MacAlpine (who are no longer with us) for showing us their house across the street. Their house was built at the same time by the same builder, and is the actual mirror image of our house, but it was all fixed up with the original stained glass windows, built-ins, and cedar siding. After looking at 50 other homes, Bethany convinced Conrad it was possible, and we settled on 322 with the grand idea of fixing her up. We bought the house in 2008, with a vaguely defined 10 year plan for restoration. It’s been 15 years & we still aren’t finished. This Page is (also) Currently Under Construction.
