This Antique/Vintage Car Horn is attached to a base made from a reclaimed rustic barn beam from Montgomery, PA. We bought this fine beam from Ed Buck. This beam has its original cracks, nail holes, and adze marks. The base is finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax & mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil the base occasionally.
These types of horns used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to them.
This particular horn is approximately 11.5” tall with a 3.5” bell.
Siren #128 is off to live on a boathouse in Tennessee.
