Siren #210 - #211: Sweet September & Virgo
Our Sawdust Sirens are old style acoustic amplifiers for your new phone's speaker. Simply put your phone in and have a listen.
Siren #210: Sweet September (photos 1-4): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9” tall with a 6” bell and married to a reclaimed pine beam from a house on the 300 block of Park Ave. in Swarthmore, PA
Siren #211: Virgo (photos 1, 5-7):This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9” tall with a 6” bell and married to a reclaimed walnut base.
These horns would have been mounted on the side of a car or motorcycle and used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to it. Our bases are finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally.
