A nod to the Three Musketeers: Sirens #272-274 Athos, Porthos & Aramis

Siren #272: Athos (photos 1-3): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 7.5” tall with a 5.75” bell and married to a base made from an unknown piece of wood (perhaps cypress?).

Siren #273: Porthos (photos 1, 4-5): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9” tall with a 5.5” bell and married to a base made from an unknown piece of wood (perhaps cypress).

Siren #274: Aramis (photos 1, 6-8): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 8.5” tall with a 6” bell and married to a base made from an unknown piece of wood (perhaps cypress?).

These types of horns would have been mounted on the side of a car or motorcycle and used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to it. Our bases are finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally. Each Siren is signed on the bottom of the base. If your phone has stereo options you may want to play around with mono and stereo settings to see which you prefer.
