The Handmaidens of Persephone. The Seirenes (Sirens) were half-birds/half beautiful maidens who lured sailors to their death with their bewitching song. These type of horns would have originally been mounted on the side of a car and used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to them. These bases are all made of reclaimed walnut and finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax & mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil the base occasionally.
