Siren #177: Toil (Photos 1-5): This particular brass “Witch’s Hat” Phonograph horn is approximately 13.5” tall with a 6.5” bell and married to a reclaimed walnut base from a fallen tree from the 200 block of Park Ave. in Swarthmore, PA. This walnut base has a few stable hairline cracks in the base.
Siren #178: Trouble (Photos 1, 6-9): This particular mini brass “Witch’s Hat” phonograph horn is approximately 14” tall with a 5” bell and married to a reclaimed walnut base from a fallen tree on Park Ave. in Swarthmore, PA. The walnut base is finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally. Trouble has flown to Miami, Florida!
