Siren #237-239: Larry, Moe & Curly
Siren #237-239: Larry, Moe & Curly
Our Sawdust Sirens are old style acoustic amplifiers for your new phone's speaker. Simply put your phone in and have a listen.
These types of horns would have been mounted on the side of a car or motorcycle and used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to it. Each siren is married to reclaimed pine beam from a house on the 300 block on Park Ave. in Swarthmore, PA. The bases are finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally. Each Siren is signed on the bottom of the base. If your phone has stereo options you may want to play around with mono and stereo settings to see which you prefer.
