Sawdust Siren is joining the women of @harveyoak, @galleryonpark and @villagevineswarthmore in raising awareness and money to make sure women and families in PA stay protected. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to organizations supporting women’s reproductive health: National Network of Abortion Funds, The NARAL Pro Choice America, and Together Rising.

  A drooping hunting horn was Sawdust Siren’s inspiration in creating a sculptural reaction to a certain group of decision-makers. This bugle is mounted in an appropriately battered white oak base from an 1800’s structural beam to create a stunningly audible protest. Lovingly and ironically fabricated over Independence Day weekend, 2022.

  The whole piece is approximately 11” tall x 6” wide x 15.5” deep with a 4 1/8” bell. Finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally.
