Our Sawdust Sirens are old style acoustic amplifiers for your new phone's speaker. Simply put your phone in and have a listen.

This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 13” tall with a 3.5” bell with lots of patina and married to a reclaimed piece of chestnut from a barn built in the early 1900s with all its original worm holes, cracks and crevices. We filled in the major cracks with resin to stabilize the base. The whole piece is approximately 15” tall x 5” wide x 9” deep. This type of horn would have been mounted on the side of a car or motorcycle and used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to it. The screen on the horn kept the bugs out. The base is finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally. Each Siren is signed on the bottom of the base.
