Siren #293: Out on a Limb: (photos 1-4): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9.75” tall with a 6” bell and married to a base made from reclaimed paulownia. The whole piece is 12.25” tall x 6.55” wide x 7.75” deep.
Siren #294: Jangle (photos 1, 5-9): This particular antique/vintage car horn is approximately 9.75” tall with a 3.25” bell and married to a base made from reclaimed paulownia. The whole piece is 12” tall x 5.5” wide x 7.75” deep.
These type of horns would have been mounted on the side of a car or motorcycle and used to have a reed and rubber ball attached to it. Our bases are finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax and mineral oil). You may wish to re-oil your base occasionally. Each Siren is signed on the bottom of the base
