Maple Bowls
Hollow (photos 1-3): This Natural Edge Bowl was turned from an unknown hunk of firewood in our shop. We believe it’s spalted maple. Approximately 5.5” in diameter x 5.25” - 6” deep.
Maple Sugar² (photos 2, 4): Approximately 5-5.5” in diameter x 5.25” deep
Spinning Jenny (photos 5): This bowl was turned from an unknown piece of firewood that sat in the shop for many years. We think it was probably maple. Approximately 5.5 x 3”.
Maple Sugar (photos 6): This Maple Bowl was turned from another unknown piece of wood we found in our shop. Approximately 5.25” x 2.75”
Knotty Maple (photos 7): This Natural Edge Maple Bowl was turned from a fallen maple tree on Park Ave. in Swarthmore, PA. This bowl has all its original knots, cracks, and imperfections that we simply love. Approximately 7.5 x 7 x 3.5”.
Hive (photos 8): This fabulous & funky bowl was turned from an unknown hunk of firewood in our shop. Approximately 4.5” (top) diameter x 6” (bottom) diameter x 3” deep.
Crock of Crude (photos 9-10): This Natural Edge Maple Vessel was made from an unknown firewood pile. 4.5 “in diameter x 5.5” deep.
Spitfire (photo 10-11): This bowl was turned from a fallen maple tree on Park Ave. in Swarthmore, PA. 5” in diameter x 3.5” deep.
Perambulation (photo 12): This Natural Edge Maple Bowl was turned from a deceased tree on Park Ave. In Swarthmore, PA. 7” x 6.75” x 4”.
All bowls were finished with Betty’s Board Butter (beeswax & food safe mineral oil). Clean with a damp cloth. Dry immediately. Re-oil occasionally.
